XP: tokidoki X Pullip

Since we are on the subject of tokidoki - here's another one for ya' all....
 Tokidoki X Pullip Doll!!!

This is my first toy acquisition for 2013, actually... But am loving the box Graphics so much that I have yet to take her out of the box.... and get rid of the box - just as I do with most of my collection.... But will do, right after Chinese New Year.... am sure!!! I cannot stand seeing Toys in their boxes - not much enjoyment there - either for me, or the toys....
 They need to Be Free!!!

Loving that UNICORNO Tee....
She even comes with her own tokidoki bag and a Donutella Stuff Toy!!!

Auden's Arrival

Late last week we got in a shipment from Integrity Toys.... Isha & Eugenia from the Close Up Collection - plus the entire lot of the INEVITABLE Dynamite Girls Series.... with the added introductions of a couple of Bois in the line: Auden and Remi... Of course, the first case I opened up was AUDEN's... it was LOVE at FIRST SIGHT for me - right from the PROMO SHOTS.... and even more so when I got him in person..... Just too cool... his facial paint.... his hair.... his top and sweater... just really my style... shoes and glasses included! I suppose, if I have to gripe on one thing, it would be the pants.... was just not too keen on the material - will be replacing that soon.... Guess that proves that, just like in real life, No One is Perfect... but this BOY sure comes CLOSE!!!! hahahahahahaha..

Took some shot the other day but just getting around to BLOGGING THIS as I have been busy processing and shipping out the lot... so here's my shots... ENJOY!

PLS NOTE: We do not have any for sale... Auden SOLD OUT with us (and just about everywhere else) on Pre Order... Truly the New IT BOY (Doll) in town!!!

Can You Name Them All???

Going through boxes and boxes of dolls the last few days for an UPCOMING PROJECT.... boy do I have a lot of dolls... and boxes.... and DUST, but that's another story....
Anyway, the BEST part is finding some FAVE treasures of mine as I dig through them.... including these BOIS..... shows you how eclectic my collection is - can you name them all???

And speaking of FINDS... I had forgotten I also got a BUFFY SUMMERS doll for my birthday a few years back.... just came across her, too... must be all that ruckus about a BUFFY movie remake, that cause her to resurface....

Ethnic Barbies

just found these two gals from the ETHNIC Barbie Series, some of the last (and definitely some of the BEST!) few made by RICHWELL Corp, Philippines! Though there were about 7 different styles (not too sure now!) I remember keeping these two for myself as I really love the intricate work on their costumes... so much more work and detailing than the others...

The dolls were made for the Philippine market but we all know, they were much more appreciated by adult collectors worldwide... these two represents 2 of the various Ethnic Groups that inhabits the Philippines - a nation of many, many islands...

NOTE: Will be adding more to the Flickr album. These are the ones I have been able to unpack so far - more to come....

I STRUCK "GOLD"

Bob Mackie Gold, that is!!!! The first Bob Mackie doll was recently (just yesterday morning, really!)uncovered by me in one of the boxes stored - as I was cleaning and reorganizing... I had forgotten about her and the other Mackie dolls -- so am digging for the rest of the SEQUINED, oh-so-sexy, Bob Mackie Barbie dolls, as well as, the other DESIGNER DRESSED Barbie dolls like Burberry, Givenchy, DIOR, Calvin, etc...

I already uncovered so many goodies - some extras that I will POST FOR SALE in a day or so... I wonder what other goodies I will find.... STAY TUNED!!!

Jenny is Another You!

ABOVE: Jenny Dolls in Various Styles of Kimono Wear
===============================
With two of our roommates moving out (they have recently bought their own home) -- we have been going through so much boxes in our storage room (basically the third bedroom) to separate what needs to be moved and what stays...

So with all these digging, am uncovering so many of my boxed up collections, and could not help but take the time to go though a few of the boxes stored... I happen to have opened up mostly my Jenny Dolls & Friends Collection.... it was TRULY like seeing old friends again... There was the variations of Kisara (My Most Fave Jenny friend with her side glancing eyes!); all the boy dolls dressed in OOAK clothings made by my friend, Gary Fritts; Designer Jenny dolls dressed in Pierre Cardin, Hiromichi Nakano, Jill Stuart, Kansai, YSL, Hane Mori, etc...; and so much more... I cannot even tell you how wide my smile was... and as I write this, I find myself still smiling....ABOVE: Jenny & Friends

Can't believe it has been so many years since I had them shipped from the US to Taiwan as I was asked by the SHIN KONG Department Store to do an Exhibition for one of Jenny's anniversaries... Over 500 Jenny and friends total I flew in from San Francisco - Thank God they covered all shipping expenses, insurance included... (*_*)... and through the exhibition, we were asked by a Publishing Company to write: The World of Jenny - a project I TOTALLY loved as not only almost all dolls featured were from my personal collection, but I also got to highlight (and meet)quite a lot of collectors from all over the world... the book was also a first in that it was written in both Chinese & English... OH HOW I'VE MISSED YOU OLD FRIENDS!!!!

ABOVE: Special Jenny & Friends dolls made EXCLUSIVELY for Totoco, Noix De Rome & Toys R Us (Japan).

NOTE: All Photos are from the Jenny Exhibition, Taiwan. More Photos Here.
